Suz Interview
Finally we got our own Suz interview. We’ve put our minds into it for a long time now, because she is one of our favs and part of the Produkt family. Besides, as many other north-american artists, she is also underrated, due to the low frequency of gigs in Europe. Hopefully this interview will make a tiny difference in the developers’ eyes and we will get to see her more often playing in Europe. This particular interview introduces the reader into a small part of her history and acts as a small scale blueprint of the canadian scene, with it’s goods and bads. Of course, we couldn’t have not asked her for another one of her yummy recipes.

Dupa interviul cu Shadi Megallaa, de data asta am socializat cu Franco Cangelli, un producator, DJ si label-owner din Belgia. El este asociat scenei muzicii electronice de ceva timp, a lansat epuri la Toys For Boys, Autist, Sushitech, a dat startul la 2 labeluri : Aesthetik Records si Mowar, prima luand nastere in colaborare cu DJ Aki. Prin recentul sau ep lansat la Seventh Sign Recordings cu Sven Weisemann ca remixer, el a reusit inca odata sa-si confirme viziunea de calitate pe care o are asupra muzicii, lucru pe care el ar dori sa-l faca tot timpul, asa cum ne marturiseste in interviu. Alte lucruri pe care le-ai putea afla citind mai jos sunt informatii despre viitoarele sale colaborari si releaseuri, partea sa avida de munca, cateva surprize avute in timpul gigurilor sale, scena muzicala din Belgia si altele.
Franco Cangelli Interview
After the interview with Shadi Megallaa, we have this week some answers from Franco Cangelli, a Belgium based producer, DJ and label-owner. He’s involved in the scene for some time now, he has released ep’s on Toys For Boys, Autist, Sushitech, he has established 2 labels : Aesthetik Records and Mowar, the first in a collaboration with DJ Aki. With his recently released ep on Seventh Sign Recordings with Sven Weisemann on the remixers lineup, he once again confirms his quality taste and view in music, view that he would like to be full-time as he shares with us in the interview. Some other things you might find out if you read below are some of his future collaborations and releases, his workacholic side, some surprises during his gigs, the Belgium scene and so on.

De data asta am dorit un interviu din partea lui Shadi Megallaa, un artist cu totul special care se zbate sa ofere lumii atitudinea si muzica sa unica. Shadi Megallaa ne vorbeste despre albumul pe care urmeaza sa-l publice, despre Igloo-Pop, LoMidHigh Unlmtd., netlabelism, despre viata in Elvetia, James Brown si noul sau live-act la care inca mai lucreaza. Asadar, urmati-ne intr-o calatorie ce evidentiaza un geniu muzical subapreciat pe nume Shadi Megallaa.
Daniel Lyons – Despre influenta romanilor asupra LoMidHigh
Daniel Lyons este numele din spatele LoMidHigh. Brandul LoMidHigh nu ar trebui sa vina ca o noutate, pentru ca functioneaza ca label de ceva timp, surprinzandu-ne placut cu fiecare nou release. LoMidHigh a fost modelat in intregime dupa gandirea si pasiunile lui Daniel, avand ca prim reper in etica label-ului conceptul de “Ltd.“. Acum, dupa ce artistii si ascultatorii europeni s-au familiarizat cu LoMidHigh, principalele proiectele de viitor ale lui Daniel sunt cele doua noi sublabeluri : LoMidHigh Organic si LoMidHigh Unlmtd, un proiect pe care il va realiza impreuna cu Shadi Megallaa. Daniel locuieste in Copenhaga, Danemarca si pasiunea sa pentru muzica este acel lucru care il determina sa lanseze in continuare muzica de inalta calitate.
Daniel Lyons talks about LoMidHigh Organic and Unlmtd
Daniel Lyons is the name behind LoMidHigh. The brand shouldn’t come as new to you if you’re the average european listener or artist, especialli because it works as a label for quite a while and always impressed lots of people in the brench with it’s delightful eps. LoMidHigh is the practical result of Daniel‘s imagination, with it’s phylosophy being built around the “Ltd.” concept, the very first landmark in the label’s evolution. Now, after everyone familiarised themselves with the LoMidHigh music, Daniel’s projects for the near future consist in launching two new sublabels – LoMidHigh Organic and LoMidHigh Unlmtd., the last one being a more experimental label ran alongside with Shadi Megallaa. Daniel currently resides in Copenhagen and it’s passion for music is the thing that keeps him publishing great music.
